Use the chart above as a guide—here’s how to understand each measurement:
Length – Measures how long the bar is, this determines how the jewelry sits in your piercing. Too short can pinch, too long can move around and feel uncomfortable.
Gauge – Refers to the thickness of the jewelry. The lower the number, the thicker the jewelry (for example, 14G is thicker than 20G).
Standard Sizes (most common fits):
- Nose - 20G | 6-7mm
- Belly - 14G | 10mm
- Tongue - 14G | 16mm
- Nipple - 14G | 12-14mm
